Marlo Wesselman (born 1972) came to live in Amsterdam (Oud-West) in 1995. Later she moved to the south of the city. After hotel school, she tried her hand at a few things before arriving at estate agency in 2000. Six year later, she became an officially certified NVM estate agent/valuer. Outside work, her greatest hobby is cooking, followed by golf (frustrating), diving (holiday fun), eating out and going on holiday. Her favourite destination is South Africa. Also on her wish list: Argentina, Vietnam, Bali and Rome.

My area
I prefer Oud-Zuid, De Pijp and the Negen Straatjes ("Nine Streets").

My favourite restaurant/bar
Oud-Zuid, Loetje, Stout, Afourtiet, Puyck, Vis aan de Schelde. I try out all the new restaurants.

My sources of information
Het Parool, NRC, nrc next, Elle eten, delicious (a magazine about eating & living), nu.nl - buienradar.nl (very handy, as cycling in the rain is not my favourite activity!).

My experience of the Dokter Estate Agency
Our office is young, enthusiastic and flexible. I also find it energetic, lively and businesslike.
